LK Studio is hiring the following position!

Photo and Video Booth Sales Associate

We are looking candidates based in Los Angeles who can travel with our media team out of LAX throught out the season.

Are you passionate about the dance community, dance photography, and delivering memorable experiences? Join our team as a Photo and Video Booth Sales Associate! We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused individual to help run our photo and video booth during events and provide top-notch service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service: Engage with potential customers, assist dancers and dance parents with photo previews, and help process payments for photo and video orders.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with photographers to ensure photo previews are working properly and photo booth setup ready to go on competition days. Handle logistics for the team, including planning meals and booking ride-shares.
  • On-Site Support: Provide media support during events as needed, i.e. grabbing camera battery.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service is preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You are outgoing, persuasive, and love connecting with people.
  • Tech-Savvy: Basic understanding of Apple products and iOS or a willingness to learn.
  • Flexible Schedule: Availability to work weekends (fly out Wed) when most events take place.
  • Enjoys traveling
  • Background in dance is a plus, but not required
  • Background check is required as our clients work with students
  • Must be authorized to work in the US, completion of W-9 or W-4 & I-9 will be required depending on the job.

Compensation: approx $600-1200 per event (2- 4 days)

Hourly rate: $20-23/hour, OT rate is 1.5x after 8 hours. double OT rate is 2x after 12 hours.

Travel time is paid at a lower rate. Travel expenses covered include mileage, all hotel, flights, and most meals during competition days.
